The Sower

Thank you for listening to our Surge Church Podcast. In Jesus' Parable of the Sower, He described 4 types of soil the seed fell on as the sower sowed seed. Jesus later explained to the disciples that the seed represented the Word of God and the 4 kinds of soil represented people's hearts when the Word is sown into their lives. The theme of this message is that the Gospel of the Kingdom will be met with varying success, which is determined by the condition of the human heart that receives it. We must ensure that our hearts are the "good ground" that is open and receptive to God's word in order to produce the fruit of the Kingdom.
