Mindset - Take Every Thought Captive

Thank you for listening to our Surge Church Podcast. Jesus never promised us a trouble free life. He did command us to take heart because He has already overcome the troubles we encounter in this world. This is why it is vital to take the anxieties and stresses of life to God in prayer. There's something powerful about taking what's happening in your head and putting it before God. It is then we will know that peace is not the absence of problems. Peace is the presence of God in the midst of the problems.
